Is there any way to flash the TSOP without the original HD?
jameswalter
Not really. The 29 wire or MatrixTSOP method might work if you booted from the DVD drive.

no, theres nothign that can boot with the HD, youll need to set up an HD first 9with a modchip) then set up an exploit to flash the TSOp with the chip disabled

you would have to go and proove me wrong tongue.gif

but unless you happen to have one of these lying around its not worth it, the TSOP test clip alone would probably run you about 300 dollars, lol

Install LPC Modchip.
Install other harddisk from home, install xboxdash, lock the harddisk.
Remove LPC Modchip.
Boot original bios and use a game exploit to flash onboard TSOP.

To answer his question though, yes, but it's costly. Just throwing that out there of course. rotfl.gif

I built one of those wonderful peices of junk - works on my 98 pc not my xp pc and will not work on a hyundai chip for some reason waste of time.

I have most of the parts lying around and still cost $80 being a duox2 or aladin is like $10 buy yourself a chip or borow one and lock a new drive to the box to flash it.
