Do i need to backup, or should i back up my original hdd if im dropping in a new wd 120 gb with my chip install?

Do i need to do anything at all to it?

Thanks
bikehorn
i take it you modded your box, but kept the stock HD in it, but now you regret that and decided to go for a larger HD.

if you have anything on your stock HD that you consider important/would like to have on your new HD, back it up onto your computer. and while you're at it, back up your EEPROM for safety. i would probably back up my gamesaves.

once you install your new drive, all you have to do is format it with Slayer's or X-disk or something and load all your custom apps and things back on. don't your gamesaves too

Unless you want your gamesaves/music, no, you don't need anything from your other hard drive. You'll just need a boot disk that can format this new hard drive and install all the dashboards and applications.
