Here is the problem after softmodding with 007 :

1. Unleash X Dashboard comes up, however I can't watch DVD's or play backups.
2. MS Dashboard doesn't work gives me error (on the left top corner it says 21).

Any answers to this problem? Could it be the DVD drive? Or do I have to do something about all this?

1. what kind of media are you using? do you have donglefree dvd player installed on your xbox?

2. how are you trying to access your MS dash? through unleashX or through a game you coldbooted?

You need to patch the original dash.

What installer/method did you use to install your softmod?

shouldn't it autopatch for you? i've never had to patch the msdash myself before

with a more advanced installer you won't have to patch anything. anyway not all people use an installer and not everybody use new stuff. Anyway these questions are some common that it easily can be sorted out by some searching.

Well I'm using the 007 exploit for Softmod Installer Deluxe 3.0. While I easily modded another Xbox system of mine using it and then booting up Auto Installer Deluxe 2.0 thereafter (which works), this current system I am working on while trying to get the softmod working doesn't even boot up AID 2.0.

I am confused to as what should be done? Should I change the exploit I use? Do I need to hotswap the system since I have tried every possible way to get it working?

1) your xbox dvd drive probably doesn't recognize your burned cd's.

2) You probably are missing some necessary msdash files or like mentioned above, the xbe needs to be patched. Sorry im not too familiar with SID's.

If you are having trouble you may want to think about using a different installer such as krayzie's or manually installing the softmod.
