before installing im backing up everything from my retail HDD
to upload it again afther the dash is installed

I know when the dash is installing everything (saves,music etc ) is overwrited or deleted

will I be able to transfer my forza save again to my xbox?

yes, as long as you copy over the complete e:\ TDATA & UDATA folders
