I have an Xecuter 2.3b PRO modchip. Back in the day when I got it (a while ago) I got some guy to help me through the whole flashing process and whatnot. Anyways, what happened was he ended up telling me how to do everything and I didn't learn squat.
So, I have I think a Slayers Auto-Evox dash on it. However, I cannot return to the original MS Dashboard. And when I turn the chip OFF, it still boots to the modchip dash. I have about 30 games backed up on the 250 gig harddrive I don't want to lose, but I want to totally wipe the harddrive clean, reflash the BIOS, and start anew.
I tried today FTP'ing to my XBOX, and I typed in the Default Gateway, Subnet Mask, and the IP on my Computer, then I opened up Flash FXP and I typed in my XBOX's IP address, name (xbox) and password (xbox), and it said
Connecting..
Connected too xxx.xxx.x.xx
but then after a few seconds of NO data, it said connection failed. What can I do to stop this? And after I FTP to my XBOX, I just move all the games from the XBOX to my PC, and then what? Just right click delete on every file in the XBOX?
