I a v1.6 mobo that I can't boot it up, it does 3 time reboot like FRAG but flashing red/orange instead. It has never been modded, took it out of a 1 month old xbox. Im suprised things like this happend. No its not overheating cause the problem occurs as soon as you turn it on, I cannot find anymore information on it so I was hoping someone with similar problem could help me out if you have a solution. Btw, where is the EEPROM location on 1.6 mobo? Any info lead to a solution would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This error is usually due to a broken/lifted trace from pin 5 on the LPC bus. Since its not modded, it seem unlikely that this is the problem. Did you put the 1.6 mobo in a non 1.6 case?

No its still in its original case, never been move anywhere. I was playing a game, it froze, I turn it off and then back on and it happend. Its not the dvd drive cause I have tested it in another xbox. That's weird.
