I was FTPing a file over to my xbox when i decided that i would do it later, so i cancelled the FTP process and the xbox froze on my X3 type dashboard. Now whenever I restart my xbox the Screen is continually move up over and over again making it hard to do anything with the xbox. I don't know what the heck has happened and hopefully someone will provide some assistance.

Do you have the same problem if playing a game?

sounds like the video region has been changed ?? you need to reset it to NTSC and the problem should resolve itself

No the problem does not persist within the games and the region is already set to NTSC. The X3 dashboard im talking about I think is called the X3 Live or something like that. Describing it, its the one with the big green rotating x in the backround.

So it seems the problem only persists in the dashboards and even the bios bank. Does anybody think that this is a bios problem. Upon further studing the problem it seems that i cancelled the transfer while it was going.

You do'nt know which dash,
I'd fix your problem by deleting everything in cache E and xyz then i'd install the dash again.

He's talking about X3CL... In the x3 bios.

Try reflashing the chip.
