Just having some problems trying to install, and wondering if you need the original MS Dash installed on the box to load UIX. I have a soft mod version 1.0 and when I try to run UIX as an app it just resets to the Unleash screen. Wondering if you need the original MS dash installed, cause I don't have it. Any help is appreciated.

Did you install it the way the tut in the tutrioals forum said to?? in C: next to the orginal Dash??? thats how I got mine running... also there's 2 kinds of .xbes for it try either one of them...
Most people forget to install the fonts. This is the main cause for UIX to crash, ive seen many people install the dash then find out they downloadad the fonts but never installed them.
Your best to use the fixed .xbe as it has more BIOS compatability
