I installed the external fan for my 120 gig hdd.

Since the fan was white, and it didn't quite blend in nicely.

So I went out and bought black paint for the fan, and blue paint for the X.

I also had a sheet of acrilyc plexi glass around the house so I made a custom jewel, under the jewel there's a picture, like the one u see on the xbox games in the corner.
But again, since my camera is shitty, it was impossible to take any pics of the jewel, so gotta take my word for it.

Also the eject button lights up blue instead of green, and I also put lights on my controller, but since I have a shitty camera, It' wouldn't catch the light from the leds and the pictures looked really bad.

Nice work. And I also like the clean job you did on the mods on the rear of the case. Almost looks like they were built-in.

Are you talking about the switches?
I only have one right now, and the second hole is left from the matrix I used to have.
I am planning on putting a switch there to turn the jewel lights on and off.

By the way, if anyone is interested, the paint used is "GM7217" CAr color paint.
The black paint I used for the fan is "RC250" hobby paint.

Xbox-Scene, look in tutorials, or google it. Eled.com is a good place for LEDs.

Yes that would be the best option wink.gif

parallel port for your xecuter2pro? I think it's cool how they have the switches external...puts my matrix to shame with the external stuff........I'm gonna put switches on mine soon.

Looks good after you painted it black.
