I have a 1.3 xbox - It has a heatsink on the gpu without a fan.

I bought this today and thought that maybe it would be a better replacement - But actually looking at the size of the Heatsink on the gpu at the moment , I am not so sure.






Anyone used something similar to this?

Would I be better off just sticking with the standard Heatsink?

you don't need the change the heatsink, replace the bubble gum crap M$ uses on the heatsinks with arctic silver 5 and you'll get better temps

stock heatsinks do the job just fine. but why not test it out and compare the temps for the xbox using evox.

in idle on the evox dash for 10-15mins, then maybe playing a game for half an hour etc.

btw make surwe the game has the IGR working or else you will have to reboot.

but why not test it out and get back to us with the results, that would be handy.
