how do you get to see the disc spinning with an aftermarket clear red case with a phillips drive, it supposed to only work with the thompson drives. im talking about the thing that comes with the case so you can see the disc spinning

im not talkin about a dvd window, im talkin about when you buy one of those aftermarket cases, it comes with a thing so you can take the top of of your dvd drive and see the disc spinning. i need to know how to do it with a phillips drive cuz it is made ofr the thomson drive and ive heard there is a way to get it to work with the phillips drives

all u gotta do is take the little plastic thing out of the old top, put it in the new plastic clear thing, then line it up so that spins freely and glue it with hot glue or something on the sides, if i doesnt work properly reposition and reglue

Don't use hot glue, use either super glue, or better yet an expoxy.

sorry for all the same posts, my computer was bein stupid and it didnt show my recent posts

take off the lid for the dvd drive, and use a screwdriver, or any kind of prying tool.
then put it inside your clear spindle and snpa the little clear disc that came w/ your spindle on top of that.

HAHA, i love the humor man, nice one.

after you remove the disc diffuser from the stock xbox dvd drive's lid....the stock dvd drive top is pretty much trash.
I can tell you my method in the tutorial works very well from my own accounts, and at least 3 other people who have done it.
