I've been to the #slayer channel on efnet and downloaded the winrar file slayers auto installer v2.0 twice and each time I go to unpack the ISO file it says that it is in an uknown format or corrupted? What gives? I am using Winrar 3.0 and it unpacks other programs A-OK. Has anyone else had these problems as I have a 120gb hard drive ready and waiting to go and am gutted that the auto-installer won't unpack. Can anyone give me any help or advice, pleeeeeaaaaase?

you cant unpack it.... you will get an error!

but it's not sercured as Badguytje mentioned, just use XISO to unpack slayer.

I am in the process of burning it as an ISO file with PrimoCD. Am I correct in assuming this will then work as normal?

It will work, as i have done it my self. the slayer iso has been compiled no differently than any other backed-up xbox game. as most people well know that backed-up xbox games can be extracted on to your HD with XIso or a few other progz.

ill never understand why, after all the bugs in xiso that have come out (that ive heard) people still use it. is there any basis to these claims?

i used to get an error msg too but as long as the file(s) you extracted is the size it is supposed to be then it should work.

I used xbox iso reader and extracted it fine. and ftp'ed all the files over to my hdd and works fine. one question where or what dir do i put config magic in?
