Ok, I accidently deleted my ms dashboard and I have evox installed so I have ftp access its just im trying to install uix and it don't work. I put the uix.xbe in the C:/ and delete the evox.xbe files I also include the folder for the uix.xbe that I downloaded from the usual places but when I do this and start up the box with no game it just goes back to my SID screen where I can install either Evox Or unleashx... I'm really screwed and need some help to install it. I also tried installing it as an app but when I opened the app It said Unleash X and then went back to my original evox dashboard. I need to know how to do this so I can end subscriptions to live accounts and I've been told UIX has ms dashboard features + more. So any help greatly appreciated also, if you want I'm on aim imodinhalo2

EDIT: Some things to keep in mind.

I don't have a chip I'm softmodding
I did make sure to copy over the audio fonts and sounds.
When I upload to my xbox through flash FXP usually about 6 or seven files fail because they don't have any file names (EG I mean like.... evoxdash without an extension like .xbe or anything.)

Main problem is that you didnt get the fixed .xbe

The softmod that you are using may have the evox m8 bios...

UIX wouldent boot with the m8 untill the fixed .xbe was released

You could try reading Gasclowns Tutorial to installing UIX. Just read over it and understand what you have to do before you go killing anything.

And if possible can you say what softmod package you are using?

Softmod package :S? Its called SID... it comes with options like create c back up... I'm using it for 007 AUF I think SID stands for Softmod installer deluxe.... and well I'm not to sure which version my xbox is... I know for sure its either 1.6 or 1.6b but not entirely sure.

Well then by getting the fixed .xbe it shoudl boot.

Get it from "the usual place" and replace the old uix.xbe with the fixed one
