I'm wondering all i have around my house is

30 Gauge Magnet Wire

But i believe i need this correct?

30 Gauge Wire for wrapping

Oh, and i heard i could use magnet wire by burning the covering with a lighter, don't know though.

for what purpose? for some of the trace fixing procedures you need magnet wire, but for doing tsop flashing, modchip installs, lpc rebuild, etc. you need insultated wire.

why would you need magnet wire for fixing traces...?

Well i meant for soldering the LCP point instead of using the rebuild. Ok thanks.

i can't find the link now, but i saw a tut where a guy bridged both sides of burnt trace w/ magnet wire.

well.. thats a first.. I always see them fixed with 30awg wire..

you dont NEED to use it for traces
