Ok I'm using Snowfoxes NPC file and I understand what to do BUT it never works! Its the only hack I can't do! I can get the character I want but when I change the Insert Name text to the name I want rather than getting the NPC I end up with an Obese RAmar/HUmar..... any ideas?

Your not the only one. I get a skinny ass, evil black-and-red lil FOnewearl named --- or some shit. I did get it 2 work once, but i was drunk and cant remeber exactly what i did.

Once trying to get Ninja I put my name in and got Sonic... Twas a proud day.....

If anyone feels they could make the npcchar.dat file form me with the name and char I need that would be much appreciated as I am clearly a fuck up....

as far as changing the name goes

open the npcplayerdat file with hex editor
goto edit
replace
select text string
replace the {INSERT NAME} WITH THE NAME U WANT

Tried it didnt work but hey I can try again.....

well do u use the space bar to delete it then write in the name u wanted???
