Don't bump so soon. Apparently they ban for bigger hard drives now, so that may be your problem, or apparently they check the LPC so it'd find your chip, but i have no idea.
Plus, this should be in the xbox live forum down lower.

New HD, New Gamertag, New eeprom = Xbox Live. Change one without the other and get baned. Either all three or none dont waste your time/money.

Abit of hijacking this thread.
If i just wana chagne my xbox region to others in eeprom. Does that means i am altering the eeprom which will get me ban eventually because of the "New HD, New Gamertag, New eeprom " rules.

I know it sounds tedious but to get on Live, I put my origional hard drive in and i lift the mod chip off of the LPC. electronically, my xbox is 100% stock at that point when i get on live.
