Tried doing a search on this one (several ways) and got no hits. So here goes:

I just got an HDTV tonight (yippee!! biggrin.gif ) and I was wondering about something I saw in my Avalaunch settings. 480P, 720P, and 1080i are all disabled. Does that mean that they're just disabled for Avalaunch and it will automatically go into said settings when I start the game, or does it mean that they're disabled for the games, too? I did get component cables, FYI. smile.gif

btw, I tried to enable them, but it said it wouldn't write back to EEPROM with the hard drive locked. I don't have to FTP the XBox or anything to unlock it, do I?

OH, speaking of which, one final question since it just came to mind. I was FTP'ing my XBox for the first time last week (just got the mod done, X3 CE) and I have set the same IP (192.168.0.3) in Evox and XBMC, but I accidentally hit the setup for XBox to XBox in Avalunch and the IP there is something like 10.0.10.110. I have to actually start up XBMC to even be able to FTP the box. I can't find a way to change the Avalunch one. Any help on that one too would be appreciated by this lowly noob. smile.gif

1. Get a HDTV cable and set the output via the M$ dashboard (xbox must be NTSC, PAL xbox need to switch to NTSC before you can get HDTV output)

2. Got to network settings and change the IP back (kinda duh isn't it tongue.gif ) BTW if you dont get the virtual keyboard, pressing the white button will make it come up, and "Y" is cofirm.

If you have a router you can also just enable DHCP.

I already have the HD cable, so that's not the prob. Slapped myself in the head earlier when I figured out that I had to do the adjustment in the MS dash, so that one is now cleared up (thanks for answering all the same, though smile.gif ).

As for the IP address, that's the thing....I tried to manually change the IP address in Avalaunch when that first happened and it won't freakin' let me. It matched the IP address in XBMC and Evox, I hit that setup for XBox to XBox connection (which I don't want to do) and that's when it changed the IP address and won't let me change it to anything else.

I'll take a second look and see if it wants to play nice now, though. smile.gif
