I know this has been asked a million and then a hundred times. But what is the complete process or a link to setting up Avalaunch as the default dashboard.
CrakkedOut
put it on the C: and make ur bios boot to the avalaunch.xbe......thas it
ChuckBales
I believe you can rename evox to something else, like oldevox, then change avalaunch to evox.xbe
CrakkedOut
theres no need to do that at all.

just do what i said. its easier.

Acctually, what Chuck said would be a lot easier because all you do is rename 2 files. Rather than editing, uploading, and flashing a bios.

Though that is the proper way to do it.
CrakkedOut
true, but thats what we should be teaching. the proper way to do things that way theres less confusion down the line.

Is the reason anybody would do this for "personal preference only"?

Or is there an advantage / disadvantage to booting straight to one dash or another?

Its a matter of preference, some people like a certain dash, some like to keep other dashes as apps for their main dash, whatever you like the setup to be.

Do you change evoxdash.xbe or default.xbe to default.xbe which will really be avalaunch.xbe?
Ruth Looose
NM I got it to work! Thanks guys!

I might try this.

To use Qwix FTP to you need to have fired up Avalaunch first as an app, or will it detect it there even if it's not fired up? (ie just the slayer2.6 screen).
