TNA announced today that it has made a deal with SpikeTV to broadcast iMPACT. The show will start after WWE moves to USA and will be on in Velocity's timeslot.

sadly it will still be a one hour show, it will only become 2 hours if the show gets good ratings.

(impact really really sucks when compared to the old weekly ppv's, i dont see them get good ratings with the way impact is done atm)

It's a start.

It'll be up to TNA to be creative and use that one hour well. ECW used to do well with an hour time slot.

wwe, or wwf back in the day was only 1 hour. they had wwf war zone. then they added raw right after it for another 1 hour show. then i beleive it was raw is war for one 2 hour show. then it was just raw.

and i beleive wcw was doing somthing simular when they added nitro.

but i could be wrong. that WAS a long time ago.

RAW.. is actually still booked as two separate programs/hours on sat feeds. I assume.. it's done for ratings purposes.

aah i didnt know that, it wasnt until i discovered newsgroups that i could activly watch wrestling again.

WCW Nitro was a three hour program for a while...

Does anyone else not get Raw on Spike TV, I have Bell Expressvu satellite. It's advertised in comercials on Spike TV but it is never on. I don't mind because I just watch it on TSN but I was just wondering why this is.

I think because it's with Spike T.V. USA and Canada are 2 different chanels and TSN has the Canadian rights to it. Anyway thats just my opion.
