so i have some *.mpeg's and some *.avi's on my pc. how do i get them to the xbox

i went through search and all i can find was dvd2xbox, and all i gatherd from that was to copy real dvd's to the xbox, not mpeg's or avi's.

i got 1 dvd to use, so i didnt want to burn it wrong.

i have nero 6 platinum or somthing. any help...

You could also use xbmc´s filemanager to get the files over.

ftping is easier said than done. i spent god only knows how many hrs trying to get it to work. i am giving up for a while. i just want to burn them to a dvd and do it that way.

you know how to do it that way?

*note, i have been able to network it before. but it wasnt on my computer. once i tried on my computer, it just wouldnt work. networking it is easy, but for some reason, my computer/xbox doesnt like the other half.*

it isn't so difficult...

I just use RecordNow to burn .avi's & .mpeg's. XBMC will play them fine

I use recordnow also and i just burn to a memorex cdrw. Then I use avalaunch's filemanager. to put it in F/videos

Well for the AVI's U can brun them as DATA and play them on the xbox that what i did w/ some Ep's i had of a show and works perfect and for the Mpegs the same thing just burnthem as DATA u can use nero to do that or any other Burning Software
