well, guys my xbmc that came w/ slayers is crap it looks like crap and is not really a dashboard...
i am pretty sure i have an older version..but how can i tell??
and if i do have an older version is htere a way to save the new version so it appers in hte slayers evox menu so i can just click it and it will open...

Good God, that version is one year old, and considering that XBMC is continually enhanced on a daily basis, that version could be considered ancient.
Search the usual places for a build thats dated no older than 5 days from the days actual date.

But, once you get a build that works good for you you should stick with it unless you enjoy mucking around with it all the time.
