Will the 360 be moddable also???

It was said that the xbox would be unchippable or something a long those lines... But now look.

im sure it will definitely be able to be modded, the only question is designing a new chip for it, and how easy/hard it is to configure and install.

I'm assuming MS is going to try to step it up on piracy protection for 360.

if they were smarter they would lower the costs of games for the new system, that would definetly bring down the piracy, of course not completely though..... (if there is going to be any)

it will most likely be modable at some point in time, only time will tell. as for how easy/difficult, who knows. they made xbox way too easy

It will be moddable. And quick search would have yeilded greater results, people have been asking this question scince the X360 was announced.

Yes, it will be moddable, one way or another. Keep in mind: its made by man, it can be UN-made by man (ok, so grammars not my strong point).

like others said, it not a question of if, but rather when. especially the first version. they can't ever upgrade the firmware/software (or most likly won't) and there are bound to be holes (after all it is MS). it may be 2 monthe b4 a soft mod/hard mod, or it may be a year but it will happen.

Ok, two things. You guys are giving MS way to much credit, 2 months? I bet, in two months, we'll see a second gen chip, not JUST a mod.

As for the firmware. Do you own a PSP? That thing has updatable firmware. And Sony updates it every time there is a major bug discovered in the previous version (but they did one thing right and made it so its not manditory).

yeah i do have a psp, thats why i was kinda relating it to that, but saying that they WON'T upgrade the xbox's firmware. also ur statments were inacurate, they do require updates to play some umd's.

You seem to forget that it took about 1 year before the xbox was moded.

There is NO DOUBT that it will become moddable....It is a MS product....Everything they make has big arse problems with security...

nuthings impossible. hell some one hacked MS them selfs and stole a bunch of stuff and left a note that he was comeing back for the rest. so im sure it will just take time and lots of testing to see exactly how it works.

i seen it on anether forum. if you just google MS hacked you can find a cuple storys about them being hacked a few times
