I was wondering if it it possible to hook up to a relax server on the net? So could I give a friend access to my mp3 share so he can play my music?!?

yeah, just add his ip to the "allow the following ips" box

Assuming you are behind a firewall, or router, you would also have to open the port/ports for xbmp on your router. I'm not sure what the ports are, but I'm sure someone else here can give you those.

OK, thanks a lot for the info!!! Will try that later this week. We are both behind routers so I guess we have to puzzle a bit

Shouldn't be too hard to redirect port 1400 to my PC though...

If you tried it yourself what are your experiences with streaming over the net?!?
