Sometimes there's an error in the cvs. It updates every 4 hrs so.. Just wait a bit and try again.

How are you compiling?
Are you using the build.bat script found in the CVS, or yuyu's xbmcdbr, or M$ Visual Studio.net?

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the xdk. Dont know if this will help, but I guess its worth a shot.
Also try and grab a new cvs, and make sure to do a full checkout and not just update what you have.

Check in the release folder for the buildlog.htm and you will see why it fails.
Might help you backtrack your problem.

Check in the release folder for the buildlog.htm and you will see why it fails.
Might help you backtrack your problem.
Also, for a simple summary of the build problems, open xbmc.sln, make sure it's set to 'Release', and build the solution in the GUI. Problems that occur will pop up in your task list.
