I used a action replay to softmod my xbox and now I cant put any games on it. I dont have a router or a hub, all I have is a cable modem my computer and the usb and ethernet cables that came with it. Is it possible to ftp my xbox with those materials? And can you ftp the xbox if your not connected to the internet?

Use DvD 2 Xbox to put the games on the HDD, why would you go from xbox - PC - Xbox

Waste of time if you ask me

All you need is a cross over cable, connect it to your NIC on the Pc and the Xbox

Set it up as the tutorials say and your done. And no, you dont need to be connected to the net whilst FTP'ing

Since you are probably using a stock hard drive (8 gb or 10 gb) you probably won't be able to put every single game on there. In fact, a softmodded xbox with no gamesaves on it only has 5 gb of free space on the E: drive. So, unless you have a small game or have no gamesaves at all, you probably won't be able to put any games on it.

I thought a roll over was a straight thru cable...

Or is it a cross over cable...

The reason I dont use DVD2Xbox is my xbox only reads Mechassault. I dont know why it just does. And the game I want to put on It is only 3gb so it should fit.

Thanks for all the info
