Full Version: How Do I Load From My F Drive?!
Ok, I copied my games/movies etc. to my Xbox F drive. Now how the hell do I load them?! It seems my xbox only loads things in the e drive! Please Help!!!
What dashboard are you using? Sounds like you need to edit the .ini to point to where your putting stuff.
I'm using EvoX. What part of the .ini file do i need to edit?
Do you see the [Menu] section?

i added that line, but i still don't know how to play movies off my f drive
in fact, i don't know how to launch anything from the f drive
What format are the movies in?
EVOX does not have any sort of movie player, or a filemanager as far as i know.
Try using XBMC and loading the movie thru that.

I can't use XBMC, i don't have that program you need to manage the source code or whatever. Besides, i don't know where to get it, xbins says XBMC is hosted on a mirror.
Id suggest geting avalaunch and using its download feature to get XBMC
Just connect your xbox to your router and go into the network settings. It has a dwonload feature somewhere in there.
Or when you msg xbins it does tell you the name of the XBMC FTP server

in avalaunch it says could not retrieve download list
Can Someone please help me download XBMC from my xbox using avalaunch?!
XBMC is on Slayers2.6 disc, Im not sure if you could choose single apps to install though

you get xbmc from a different site. when u log into xbins and do the msg thing it tells you the pass, username, and address of the site. its at the bottom.

is there a path i could use? i've looked all over xbins to no avail.
ok, nvm that last statement. Now that i've downloaded xbmc, how do i run it on my xbox? i'm not asking for a detailed explanation, i just want a good tutorial. Thanks.

just d/l the latest version of XBMC from the usual places and either burn to CD-RW or DVD-R and copy to F:\Apps using boxplorer or simply ftp to xbox drive.
It sound as if you have a very old version of xbmc that will only play movies that are in the video folder of F:\.
The newer version will allow you to search HDD for any media you want to play.
