I could try to solder it back on but I'm not sure if that'll fix it.

Anyone have any advice?

You should be able to solder it back on without problems, its just a switch.

There's no longer any light going to the module....
I tried redoing the pogo pins, unplugging and replugging all the wires etc. I just can't get power to the damn thing.

I also had a Prob with the small external board ...switch 4 is faulty on mine ...i just unplugged whole external board and chip works Fine ....only thing is now i cant turn chip on off ....when connected the small external board makes chip FAULTY but complete removal will enable chip to work OK worth a try if u only want to play games .wouldent recommend goin on XBOX LIVE though
