How do i know if my chip was flashed correctly? The flash software finishes writing but when i try to load EvoX on my xbox it cant recognize the disk.

This may not be entirely the bios's fault.
Check if your evox cd is an xiso.
Check if your xbox dvd rom can read the cd-r / rw / dvd r / rw your using.

how do i check? also i know the cd is an xiso. i used Quix to create it.

When I flashed my chip and rebooted it said xecuter2 under the startup logo. Are you getting anything like that? Come to think of it...if it you have any dash at all when you boot with the chip on....then it should be flashed. By the way, the Slayers install is very easy to use if you want to go that route. Anyway...thats my two cents worth from a newb.

ok i get the M$ Dashboard. that means my chip is flashed then? it doesnt say anything under the logo

It should either say MS or most likely Xecuter 2 depending on your bios

But surely it should say MS if it's not flashed.
Like right after the flubber animation u see the large green X and under it a MS ®...or was it ™
