Im actually kinda interested in this game, could be a better "Turok" type game than Turoks themselves.

time will tell........

I was half way interested in it until I discovered they're only making it to go alongside the upcoming King Kong remake. dry.gif

lets here it for crappy movie/game releases

Im not expecting a good game, never did. But any game that gets T Rex's to chase me in the woods is a must try for me tongue.gif

I love soiling my undies beerchug.gif

Did you know this? King Kong will not sport any type of a HUD for you, meaning no crosshair, no health...

You basically have to surivive on an Island...

I'm sure this game won't be lame

That sounds kind of lame.... half the point of the HUD in games is to provide back senses you have in real life that you loose when in a game.

I should know how many clips/grenades I have in my pocket, or be able to feel how much blood I've lost... I can do that in real life, you can't "sense" any of that in a video game which is why we have HUDs... removing it would be like me getting lost in the woods and then saying "oh what the hell, I'll cut of my left hand and blindfold myself"

More than one game site rated it up there with GOW as a hot game of E3.
Peter Jackson also told EA, sorry but you're not making my games any more and went ahead and asked the dudes who made Beyond Good and Evil (he had been enjoying playing it, as he does play videogames) to make King Kong.

Might not be great, but it won't be a lame movie game.

Not 360 version but Im a sucker for Dinos and the scene got my blood pumping, not being able to get off the raft and letting it play out.

Direct Downloads at bottom of the following...

http://www.xboxyde.com/leech_1556_en.html

I'd take the graphics as is to be honest, no jaggies and HD would make me a happy man. If they actually use the 360's power and get higher poly models, I"ll soil myself when getting chases by a T Rex blink.gif

Made a specific thread for this so the mentally handicapped would see it, lord knows they wont open up an old thread..lazy fuggers

I must say it looks damn good on the xbox. With the hud being gone you can still tell your hurt but the whole ammo thing might be harder. You can tell your hurt just by how your character walks or you can tell by using effects that distorrt your vision or even the vibration in controller you can put in a heartbeat vibration. But I think if they do something like Halo where the gun has a digital display of how many bullets you have that could work.

This game looks promising but does it have multiplayer or anything of replay value?

All of the games for 360 will be online games (multiplayer). So that means THIS game will be online game too (mp).

where in the fug did you get that from, that is simply not true.

all games will in the least be, "Live Aware", thats not the same as online multiplayer.

Videos look great but you have to worry that the game may be on rails and heavily scripted.

Ha!
One of my favorite directors gave one of my most hated publishers a stiff arm and I didn't know about it?
Too funny....

And no I'm not a dork, I'm not a Peter Jackson fan for his Dork of the Ring movies.
Go and peep out Dead Alive and Bad Taste to see what I'm talking about biggrin.gif

miggidy..

You left out "Meet the Feebles" <~ first film by Jackson that I saw. Thats a crazy movie.. muppets vs crack.

He is an ok director, but no Kubrick. I like that one guy too. I can't think of his name. He directed "From Dusk til Dawn" and "Sin City".

And as far as him dissing the Ea games for his movies, I didnt think they were that bad. They just werent too good. But I agree... EA sucks

Put it in this way... A dinosaur swings his tail at you and and hits you, do you expect to surivive??? Big evil enemies... its just making it more realistic... I'm pretty sure you don't need to check your health if you just became someone's snack....

EDIT: I just noticed those spell links in your sig... which one do you think is better? (For Twisted)

They're for two different browsers... One is for Internet Explorer, the other is for Mozilla based browsers (Firefox, etc.). It's not a matter of which is better but which browser you use rolleyes.gif

Haha.... I thought about that one. The movie's a trip.
I wonder what the general public would say if they ever saw any of Jackson's early work laugh.gif

Robert Rodriguez is one of my favorite directors for his over the top violence in flicks. He's a lot like Quinton Tarantino in that regard. They're actually good friends and as you know, they've worked together in many films.

I can't wait to finally watch Sin City when it comes out on DVD next week!

RR and QT did a great job on From Dusk til Dawn. They work together well.

The funny thing about RR is while he does all those super violent movies, he is also behind "Spy Kids" and "Shark Boy and Lava Girl". ohmy.gif

Holy shit you haven't seen that yet! I saw it at my local cinema-pub... an instant favorite for me... it was just perfectly done. It's also a release title for HD-DVD and probably THE reason I'll be getting an HD-DVD player when they come out beerchug.gif
