Had my 360 flashed today without any problems. Had it done within an hour of ringing him and it works like a charm. Reallly nice guy and obviously knows what he's talking about. Highly reccomended.

Had my hitachi flashed by Slimgrip.
He also sent me a disk with the backup firmware.
Recommended.

hey, ive got an x3 and a solderless adaptor. im not sure if the x3 works. how much would you charge to fit me an lpc pinheader and get it working?

well what can i say. ged is one hell of a genuine chap.
he chipped me box for me and its great.
im over the moon with what hes done, every email i sent is always replied to if not straight away its always within the hour, top work, and a very pleasant chap.
i would not hesitate in useing ged again and i would recomend him to anyone.
he puts the faith back into the net.

I had fitted a solderless chip which kept fragging. I looked for someone local and Ged's name kept being mentioned. I dropped it off in the morning and it was ready by the time I finished work. He had some difficulties with my xbox but he overcame them. Extremely impressed with the service, level of professionalism, his friendly approach and communication. He comes with my highest recommendation and he gives superb value for money.

Travelled from Barnsley, on a rainy Saturday afternoon. for 2 XBOX 360's flashing.......

Great chap, superb work....... helpfull, friendly..... and fast.

Sat & watched the football while he had everything done in no time.......

I Had a problem with a title i tried to run when i got home, BUT[u] [u]it was the disks fault not the work
or the 360

Made a quick call, and superb after sales service was given......... but as i said....... it was the disk, not the work.....

Burned my own disk (the one i was testing was from another source)...... and all is well.

I can only stress....... this chap is worth a long trip in the rain to get to.

This guy is great, i sent off my mate and i's drives which cost £7.60 insured from south wales and i had it back 8.30am a day later. He was very helpful and gave me some great advice!

Fantastic! Took my xbox round to Geds house, he fitted an Xecuter 2.6 modchip.

Ive had one or 2 emails asking Q's about this!

There is a lot of recent worry about the newer Samsung drives(MS28 Firmware) that some 360 Firmware flashers are having to perform the "risky" VCC soldering trick & charging customers more for them having to do it
I do not take such risks, ALL MS28 drives can & WILL be flashed without the need for any soldering whatsover.
I have no bricked drives to my name whatsoever & on the Offchance it did happen to a customers 360 i would replace the full 360 immediatley!

Took my sons 360 down to Ged last week. I was on my way home within 40 mins with everything done & tested working fine. Cant find fault on anything about his service, i was very pleased, expected it to take much longer really. Cracking Fella, very friendly & professional, wernt the spotty 16year old geek i was expecting a modder to be. lol. Got some very good info from him on some other none 360 stuff & ill be going back soon.
Will reccommend Ged to everyone,he knows what hes talking about & its obvious he knows what hes doing. Can tell hes been in the biz a while. I Wouldnt risk my gear with anyone else, if you do i think your a fool.

I was hoping you could explain or help. I've just brought the Xecuter Connectivity Kit but it came with no instructions on how to fit or even how to flash with it. Its taken me some days now of searching these threads to find some one who can but to no avail. Can you help please.

Cant help @ the moment as im on my Hols, only log in to check emails, PMs etc.

Theres a lot more to it than buying the connection kit, i suggest you do some more reading.
Geebees tutorial is a great place to start.

After having my 360 done a month ago, i reccomended ged to my friends, yesterday i took another 2 360's (both with different drives) to him to be flashed. Had them both done within an hour. Great price, Great guy!

Had my XBOX chipped last week and a 160Gb hard drive fitted. Although I stressed I wasn't in any rush for it and Slimgrip could take all weekend, he phoned me just a few hours of dropping it off saying it was all ready to collect!

When I got my XBOX home it was all ready to go, no hassle in installing XBMC or emulators, it was all done for me!

this guy is a genius

had about 5 xbox's done by him

had a problem with a crystal one - he fixed it for nothing ( what a guy eh !!) - but then it went faulty again

so he took it all apart , checked everything , removed the chip and reseated it , went out of his way to get me another PSU and only charged me £25 for this service ( and its now running superb i must add ! )

as soon as people say that they have an xbox i always recommend Ged

Sent my 360 drive to Ged, the turnaround time is truly amazing, real quick guy who is dedicated 100% to his customers.

From helping me with the general case opening all the way to doing the final bits to get the box shut, he was extremely informative and helpful along the way.

Couldn't recommend this guy enough, a true expert who knows what he's doing, and 100% trustworthy.

After yesterdays Xbox Live update, anyone whos drives ive flashed has Error 66 I will reflash for £20.
This ONLY applies to reflashes performed on drives originally flashed by myself.
This is where the backup of your original Firmware you were given comes in handy.
Anyone else will still pay normal price.
