ive been told by many friends that someone is going to try to steal my xbox again, i was warned in advance last time and caught the person "Rott in hell you know who". Ive been told its going to happen again by someone else and would really appreciate it if someone knows a way to make an automated task, like on december 14 2005 it will rename evoxdash.xbe on the c drive to haha.xbe and it would cease to work after rebooted next time, some type of script so if the xbox is on anytime after december 14 it will run the script or something of that nature, Any help would be appreciated, this is already my second xbox!

How exactly is someone stealing your xbox? Do you bring it to school in your backpack or something? If so, just don't bring it... or sleep with a gun next to your bed.

Dude just put a mastre pass on your box with XBMC as your main dash. Set max retrys to 1 and then if they dont know the xbox password it will reboot. And they wont be doing anything with your box except staring at all the shit you have locked..

Works magically.. What a great feature you can lock everything.. and the only way they will get past it is if they are smart enough to reformat.

Wow, this is the oddest post I have ever read. If you where realy seriouse about disableing your xbox (Note: I know this post is old but Im realy board so..whatever) you could put the krayzie ndure exploit on, do the xbmc locking thing, and if you realy didnt want anyone to get into your xbox keep the game exploit on and delete the default dashboard so that the only way that you could get to a dashboard would be to use the exploitable game. That way you could tell them that your xbox was broken and they would believe you and leave it alone... At least I think this would work because if I am not mistaken the first thing that the bios does is check to see if a game is in before it boots the dashboard. If not than you wouldn't have to worry about it because it realy would be screwed up lol.

Xbox Security System

Materials:
- Switch wired to Xbox startup button
- 10 kg weapons-grade plutonium
- Conventional explosive (Octol (HMX/TNT based explosive) preferred, Semtex or C4 will work in a pinch)
- Polonium-210 and/or pulsed neutron emitter
- Krytron switches
- Fast electrical detonator
- Blasting cap(s)
- Wire
- Sturdy bombcase
- (Optional) Lithium Deteuride
- (Optional) Uranium-238

Instructions
1). Wire up startup button switch to krytron switch array.

2). Connect the krytron switches to the detonator and the pulsed neutron emitter. Place emitter near critical mass of plutonium. Connect blasting cap(s) to explosive used.

3). Layer the explosive around the critical mass. If Polonium-210 is used as the neutron source, place it in the center.

4). Place full assembly inside bombcase.

5 (optional)). If Lithium Deteuride is used, build a secondary stage by encasing a Plutonium rod with it, and encase that in Uranium-238. This will boost the reaction a hundredfold.

6). When you see someone heading for your Xbox, run like hell!
