hey guys I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it is possiable to run 2 dashboards. 1 being evox and the other m$. I have xbmc and i have dvd-2x but they don't play dvd very well so. I was thinking if I could be able to switch between dashes like turning on a light, I would be able to play dvd thru the m$ dash .if anybody knows anything or have some advice it would help me out alot

You can use as many dashs as you want, just put them on the xbox just like they are separate applications, then when you want to use a feature from a certain dash, just load it.
If you use Avalaunch as your dash you can set it up to run a different app by holding different buttons when it loads.

hi im trying to add another dash as well i added it in my dashboard folder but when i got to my dashboard tab on my unleashx there is nothin in it i even tied putting it in my apps folder but it doesnt show up there eaither..can anyone tell me how to do it step by step plz..im trying to add avalaunch dashboard..i want to keep my unleashx as default dash tho..o and by the way i softmodded my xbox with UXE WaffleTools_MA_1224..dont know if that matters at all

My 2 cents is to get uix and then make 2 tabs for whatever other dashes yo want. 1 button click and you are there.. And in MY OPINION, UIX is a better dash then unleash or ava, on my uix screen i have evox xbmc and the regular tabs. it's nice.

Depending on what chip you have, you can have one dashboard boot up if you press A during boot-up, and have another boot up if you press B during boot-up

thanks for the reply guys but nothing you guys said helped me in any way..i softmodded my xbox no mod chip in my xbox...how would i install a second dashboard..if uxi is better how would i install that ??my softmad was self installed with a self installer pak

It doesn't matter if you are using a softmod. Explain what dash you are using and we can help you better.

thanx anyway guys i figuered out how to do it all i did was put the other dash i wanted to use in the application folder and rename avalaunch.xbe to default.xbe and it worked so thanks anyway

how would you do this i got evolx with aladdian and i wanna try this out ?

just do what i did install the dash to the app folder..let do avalaunch for example so put it in E:\Applications\Avalaunch\ then rename the avalaunch.xbe to default.xbe...then reboot your xbox and go to apps it should be there
