I just installed an Xenium Ice chip (solderless adaptor) into my version 1. xbox. And when I trun on the xbox it goes to the xbox dashboard. I have tryed reinstalling it but i cant figure out the problem. Also When I look in I dont see any light coming from the chip...maybe im looking in the wrong spot or what i dont know. Thank you for any and all help you are able to give me.

The adapter is not alligned, its not even getting power. I highly suggest either soldering it or paying someone else to solder it for you. If you have a 1.0, you need to desolder the lpc because you aren't getting even a slight connection.

Agreed - if you do get it aligned and it still goes to MS Dash, then check your D0.

just try to wiggle the Do pin alittle bit this happened to me and mine is working just fine
