I have a X2 installed in my xbox but now it doesnt seem to be working. A few days ago the menu screen for evolutionx changed from the normal menus to ones that did not have an option for "launch menu" Instead it gave me option to "Flash BIOS" I thought something was wrong so I began messing around with the flash options.

Now whenever I turn on my xbox with the modchip on it tries to load then flashes red and green. With the modchip off it works fine and my hard drive seems to be ok because I can still access my saved games.

Do you think I need to reflash my modchip BIOS and my xbox BIOS? Any other suggestions as to what I need to do to fix it would be great.

Sounds like you flashed the chip with an incompatable bios. Try booting off the other bank, and if that doesnt work you will need to either hotswap it with another x2 or buy a programmer.

Sorry, Im a complete newbie. What bank should I try booting off of? Is there a tutorial on reflashing with the programmer?
