Hi, I'm painting my whole xbox case and was wondering if you guys would recommend taking everything out of it, or just cover holes and junk so it cant get in..I have already taken it apart till I'm about to take out the DVD rom drive, but decided to ask to see if its necessary...

Take everything out.

Yes, definitely take everything out. The other possibility ( the one that I chose ) is to only paint the top piece and the front panel. The bottom piece is hardly visible anyway.

Hmm...I'm trying to take out the motherboard, but the ethernet thing is in the way and won't let me take it out. The tut on taking apart the case stops at the motherboard...sad.gif Anyone know of any tuts that go past this?

Reomove all the screws. Slide the mainboard towards the front of the Xbox (note the slots in the mainboard that allow this) The network port and A/V connector will now clear the EMI shield. Done.
