I just installed the X-Chip and using Evox v1.3 bios. Sometimes the system works and sometimes I get an error code #12 and I looked that up and it says:

12 - Kernal DVD parameters (PIO/DMA)

So, what exactly does that mean and how can I fix it? Thanks...

Is your dvd drive pluged in and working correctly?

I got that error code for the first time ever last weekend. It is the yellow wire. Take it out and reseat and you should be fine.

I replaced the DVD data cable and the DVD player and it fixed the problem. Thanks...
