Well i have a soft modded xbox and eveything was awsome untill i got the Auto Installer Deluxe v2.1 and tryed to reformat so i could play on XBL. Well it didnt work all i can do is coldboot games and when i trun on my xbox from either of the powers i get a black and green screen saying that i should call for teck support So now i am left with no MS Dashbord, No Modded Xbox and no xbl.. Someone please help me.....

Do you still have the exploitable savegames on your HD? If so, reload it by putting your exploitable game in. You then can FTP a retail C (from your Backup or Slayers) to the C drive giving you a ms Dash. Another possibilty (If you don't have the savegames anymore) would be Hotswapping. Or the use of xbhdm if you got your eeprom backup.

Sadly when i did that reforam it took out like...everything so theres no more gamesaves....man so i have to hotswap using that tutorial for idiots right? Theres no other way...?

Unless you got an eeprom backup of your xbox, Hotswapping is the only option.

Stick a solderless chip in the xbox, use AID 2.1 Final again to reinstall M$ Dash.

Sounds like you formatted your hard drive, but forgot to install M$ dash before powering off your xbox.

just search ebay ull find one they restore and clear all game saves off and puts stuff back on so ur xbox is what its like retail

It will not install a dash... its just an automated process for deleting game saves and resetting all dash settings(language, parental settings, audio...) They are used by rental stores like blockbuster to wipe the box for the next renter.

okay im gona hotswap but one question how do i get my xboxs eeprom.bin without ftp access (thats what it says in the tutoria)

nvm... i get it all now shit i cant hotswap theres no way.... could i get like someones eemp and use it or get like a blank one from config magic or something

Hotswap or modchip thats it...
why ?
and why do you need a different (any) EEPROM file if the hdd is locked to the one thats there now,
you can't do anything untill you get it to boot.
