By comparing games to the likes of PGR 3 or Gears of War, you'll only be let down. Ive stopped doing it. There are just some games that will be untouchable graphically, and PGR 3 is one of them.
But dont forget, with Ful Auto, there are massive explosions taking place, with tons of cars, and locked at 60 fps. Its impressive to watch the E3 video and see what mayhem occurs.
Maybe someone at my launch party will buy it, Id atleast like to witness the carnage. Possibly a purchase when it gets really cheap, as in Platinum cheap.

Woot is right. I love car combat games and there haven't been any decent ones out since Rouge Trip on PS1... ok, well, V8 was pretty cool, but not as good as Twisted Metal 2. Bring on the destruction!

Oh, what's another $60 Def?? PDZero, DOA4, Full Auto, and PGR3 right? Maybe Ghost Recon? They all depend on what the reviewers say. I may even pick up NFS:MW if it gets good scores.

Looks like some people will be waiting for reviews to decide if they want the game or not... Suddenly... I don't feel so lonely.
If Need for Speed or Project Gotham Racing 3 gets a 10 and it is claimed the world's greatest racing game... I still won't get racing games... period. Same with um Fighting games I think... It depends... Boxing games... same.. and shit..

lol up until a few months ago, I was up to 58 xbox games. I sold quite a few on ebay(made a profit on some, lol) and Im only holding onto anything from Team Ninja, Splinter Cells, PGR's, and Rallisports.
Oh and I got 11 Dreamcast games on launch day, so this isnt all that bad

and by the way, 7 or 8 games and a system doesnt mean one has to have a good paying job.
some people could have been saving up for a year, we all knew it was coming in nov. of '05.

and to anyone who is comparing full auto to PGR3 there are many many reasons you cant compare the graphics from one to the other. developers will use the power of a system in different ways. the power and resources of the system go to the fully destructible city, cars, debri that fill the streets. put together the explosions, 60fps, huge particle effects, smoke, breaking glass, crumbling buildings, deformed cars, and etc. it wouldnt be hard to believe that full auto is pushing more effects then PGR3. its easier to make a racing game with less interaction look better and polished then a game where there is huge interaction with the city. both teams leverage the power to do what they need and i love the style that they have achieved with full auto. im actually thinking of getting this game at or around launch because it would make a great lan/live game.
to further strengthen my stance on why its not difficult to have $$ for a launch...I posted this in general forum..

But you also fork over all this cash for guns and tvs! My dad has a very well paying job but won't spend a dime on an hdtv. We also had to wait years until dvd players were under $50(all we had was shitty ps2)

Real Guns are cheap, lol. Hell, Paintball guns are much more expensive. The Nerve with 2 nitro tanks and a Halo hopper cost around $1,800.00, thats the price of my sniper rifle and my shotgun combined.
