You know, Chancer has been a pretty damn busy moderator. The guy knows a hell of a lot about the Box. On top of that he keeps the noob-forum in line. We all have noob-ish questions on occasion. But that forum gets overrun with "H2 Modding question", "Send me a bios", and "How do I mod? Please send me a personalized totorial" shit.

Then today I came across THIS TOPIC.

Thank you, Chancer, for handling up on some of these uber-noobs making the newb-forum cumbersome with bullshit. I see you and chefelf closing all kinds of topics. That kicks ass! Thanks fellas.

Yeah, He's a great guy. Always helping.
He even offers members of x-s in the UK to use his workshop if they didn't have the right tools and equipment.

I'm pleased with how well he's been doing myself.

Wow. Then I think that "awesome mod" is quite an understatement.

It must be nice for the mods to know that their efforts do not go unrecognized!

There's a lot of nice people on the forums. People that make this place what it is. Without these people, where would any of us be? Chancer has helped me out in a lot so much and he even responded to my PMs about fixing a TV (didn't think he would, but damn, that's courteous!)

Chancer is probably one of the best, most valued persons on this forum.

That is a damn fine list. One guy I would add, since we're throwing out thanks to some very deserving guys, is appleguru. He's a smart Xenium guy, has a lot of spare parts he'll sell you cheap, and is all over the place offering support--he's on modwhiz's IRC, all over here and on teamxodus.com

And if you help yourself by SEARCHING and READING, then there is nothing wrong with adding yourself to the list

If someone hates a mod or admin, then they are a dumbass and probably don't do things like SEARCH, so they can go on hating. I think everyone who has posted here knows how to:

A. Read forum rules
B. Search
C. Take criticism if they ask a stupid question

If a member can't do this simple stuff, then they can go on hating.

And another thing...good for HSD on closing some modding/hacking forums. It takes a lot of balls to do that here, as we are all modders at some level. You have to deal with a lot of shit from some of those guys (like the Counter Strike fiasco). But by doing this in C-S and H2, you keep the scene legit and respectable.

Honestly, I try not to be a smart ass when it comes to that sort of thing but come ON! That was the most outlandish request I've seen in a while.

I'd like to Say thanks to Chancer and the rest of you from the X-S Staff.. Well Minus 1 un-named douche. Chancer has been a real help to me and alot of other dudes(and chicks?) around here. He's one of the few around this forum that acctually will go out of his way to point you in the right direction, and be nice at the same time. i must admit i have to jump on the "i love chancer" bandwagon (in a manly m8y kind of way of course ), having been a frequent visitor to the cheapmod section of the forum , it never ceases to amaze me the amount of people he has helped including myself (sadly he seemed to have been overlooked for a mods job for a while,but got the recognition he deserved in the end) , AND HES FROM THE U.K!!!!!!!!!!!!! , much respect also going to all the other guys from the cheapmod forum(hackdabox , modding maniac , otherguy , hippo , cubisproject if i left anyone out im sorry , yall know who you are) and to all the xs mods and admin , great work

I am impressed by and admire Chancer's work. I am stumped by the fact that he never yells/flames, even at persons that ask about piracy/questions that are in the faqs. And for this, he really deserves some appreciation.

Ive never actually delt with chancer, but every time im reading through a topic, and I see the first question, and i get my answer ready... i scroll down and WHAM i see him with something a thousand times better than what i was going to say so to conclude my post i would like to give him a great deal of respect, u truely are a modders best friend.
