Hey guys, I just got my XCM Ruby Red and I am about to start modding it. I have done an LED lighted jewel b4 but not on a clear case and I was wondering, do you still just hot glue the LEDs around the edge of the jewel hole like you would with an opaque case? or is it better done another way due to adhesive making it ugly? also whats the best way to route wires so they are least visible through the clear case? unfortunately I no longer have my top shielding...

also I am looking to buy a jewel like this:

so if you can get me one or know where i can buy one let me know (its no longer on the mad-modder website, im not a complete idiot)

and what do you think would look better on a ruby red:
1) red led jewel ring with red led controller ports and red power/eject
2) red led jewel ring with red led controller ports and white power/eject
3) red led jewel ring with white led controller ports and white power/eject

thanks for the help

I'd suggest just the good ole hot glue, it doesn't leave adhesive residue that will be seen through the case. I'd rout the wires to the sides, then along the fins. I think it'd look best with all red leds/cc's. Good luck, and that jewel kicks ass!
