I have been trying to build some xbox files for awhile now, and I can't for the of God figure out how to build them and not automatically send them to the xbox. What I mean by that is, I am trying to build it on my comp, but it keeps saying error: cannot connext to xbox... so I am wondering if there is a way to build the files on the comp and not have it transfer them over to the xbox automatically. I don't have a debug yet, but am looking into one. This would really help me until then. Thanks for the help.

Just ftp the files over using Flashfxp or similar and a dashboard. Evox or UnleashX etc.

I know I could do that, but isn't there a way to just build the files on the comp, so I wouldn't have to ftp them over? All I want to do, is build them on the comp, so I don't have to ftp them over right away. Is that possible?

Isn't that what you just did, build the file on your PC only VS could not connect to the debug kit so it warned you?
Anywat, you can disable automatic transfers somewhere in the project properties if it bothers you.

I found out how to do it. I was reading the documentation, and on a small amount of luck found out how to do it. Now my problem is, I am trying to build the techcertgame and when I upload it to my box, all it does is give me a black screen when I try to play it. Any idea how to do it. I think it may have something to do with the fact that the code was written for a debug with 128mg ram, and I am trying to use it on a normal 64mg xbox. ANy Idea how I could get this to work right? Thanks.

you should try building teccertdemo(in the same folder as techcertgame)
anyway what bios are you using? because it works fine on mine

ok I will try that. normally, ms bios, with my chip, m8+ works on g and f drives. Should I build it, th en put the media folder in the file that it was built in, then rebuild it? Or just build both teccertdemo, and teccertgame, then ftp that file and meida over, or what? I am just a bit confused. Thanks again.
