it states in the manual that xvid and svcd are both supported on the xbox...
i burnt an xvid onto a cdrw as an xiso and it isn't working..
i also tried playing a svcd as a dvd but it didn't work.. any ideas?
oh yah,,,,u might also know about emulators..
i have an original nintendo emulator and wanna nkow if it's possible to put that on my xbox....

first off you must make sure that the media works in the xbox.
second I believe that you need to burn them as Iso 9660.
I do not know about your original emulator

with regards to the emulator question:
basically i'm asking can u run a simple .exe file off the xbox?
and where woudl i put it if i can?

NO. You cannot run .exe files on the xbox. The code has to be specifically compiled for the xbox using the Software Developers Kit (SDK). There are available at least 2 different NES emulators for the xbox right now.
And you should try to burn the CDRW as ISO 9660. and use the D(iso9660) option in xbmp.

aight cool,
so no exe
umm what proggie should i use to burn in ISO 9660?
i couldnt' find the option in alcohol 120% nor in the roxio easy cd creator.

Burnt Bowling For Columbine, XVID on CD-R with Nero in standard Mode1/ISO 9660 and ir worked perfectly....however the second CD with exact same cdr/method didn't work? oh well at least the first did
