i softmodded my xbox and some how i delete the ms dash and i was wondering if i could put a mod chip?? or is there a way i can get the ms dash??

If you can still cold boot a exploitable game you can fix it without one. Your best bet . however, is to go get one. You could theoretically have both but I dont see a point.

i used mecha assult and i can still do the run linux and everything works fine but when i go into evox the ms dash board icon thing is red and doesnt let me go on it. the cursor bar just skips right over it i dunno know if that is suppose to happen, also could you help me in updating my evox so i can put a bigger hdd

you need to get to that screen then ftp over the original c drive into c. so you have to get the files from a friend or from the usual places.you want to get slayers autoinstaller. theres tuts on the forums. do not ask for the files here as that is against the rules.

Yea, a chip won't give you msdash back.. But its easy to replace the files.. Take note that the evox item will remain red until it finds the filename its looking for.. This might not be xboxdash.xbe since you are softmodded, it depends on if you have shadowc.. In anycase, you can check the filename right near the top of evox.ini..
