Alright to start off the only reason I think it may be fried is because I pulled the modchip off of the solderless adaptor while it was fragging. Besides that I have done nothing to screw it up, and I just got it in April '05.
Other than that I just cannot get the darn thing to boot anymore. It constantly frags. I suppose it could just be a bad connection but I've been fiddling with it for near a month now and the result is always the same.

i think that u need to check the connections (if u havent already done that) and make sure that you have a ms controlelr pluged in (thats if maybe ur xbox hasnt been updated).

I'm certain I have the solderless adaptor hooked up properly and I am indeed using an MS controller. The only things that aren't hooked up are the Disc drive and the HDD.
In my newb opinion its fried because all it does is FRAG no matter what I do with it. I'm just wondering if constant FRAGing is a sign of it being fried.

hook up the HDD and Dvd drive, then see what happens.

If you flip the switch on the chip to "recovery", does it still FRAG? Or, do you get the "Loading" recovery screen? If you do just update your Xenium OS to 2.3.0 via a CD or DVD
Does it boot to the stock BIOS if you take the chip off, or does it FRAG then too? If so, then your MOBO may be mo-fucked. If it boots like a stock xbox, then you have one of 3 things at which you can look:
1. Bad connection with solderless adapter
2. Need to update the Xenium OS to 2.3.0
3. Chip is fried
