i just got evox dash on my box and when i try and ftp stuff there is no ip in the top left corner for me to enter into flash fxp
any ideas

also im using a crosover cable that is connected to my 2ndary nic port and internet is connected to my first

go to settings and it will show you your IP

now i have an ip i enter it in but it says connecting conected then waits ten secs and says connection lost

i had an xbox last night it was my friends and he was havin the same problem but he fixed it some how i really dont know how but you can talk to him on aim.his sn is spychoke

sounds to me like you need to goto NETWORK CONNECTIONS, RIGHT CLICK ON YOUR ETHERNET CARD, PROPERTIES,TCP/IP, AND uncheck get ip automatic and check USE THE FOLLOWING IP ADDRESS and type in your ip address. I had the same problem. It wouldnt stay connected for more than 10 secs. SUBNET MASK = 255.255.255.0
