I just installed a super aladdin live in my xbox 1.6. the switch function seem to work, but the timing is not as desriped in the user guide. If I just touch the power button a split second, then it start up without the chip (green light) if push the power button just very short - not even half a second, then it starts up in chipped mode (yellow light + evox logo). The user guide says that if the power button is hold for more than 3 seconds then the light will start flashing- this does not happen. I have no idea what can be wrong or if this is the way the this version works.

The xbox connect ok to the lan but I can't get any FTP connection. I have tried to see if I could find the "evox cd" for dowload, but i couldn't find it. I read in another post that this cd will solve the ftp problem?

Please help in am really lost with this problem.

it sounds like you dont have a dashboard installed on your hard drive yet. You wnot be able to get FTP access until you have a dash on your HDD or you have booted from a cd/dvd which has ftp support built in.

Hi Otherguy, Thanks for your answer. You are correct i didn't install anything on the xbox except the chip. Please could you give me hint where I find the dashboard and possible other soft, which I need to install to make the ftp work.

I found Slayers 2.6 autoinstaller, so I will try that out tonight :-)
