I just setup this network in my new house down at school, but everything is not connecting how i was hopeing it would, i'm guessing its just a settings issue, so if anyone could give me some pointer, it would be great. take a look...

This is my set-up

All the computers can get on the internet.
Computer 3 can see the DSL Modem, Linksys Router,& Belkin Router.
Computers 1 & 2 can only see the Belink Router and the DSL Modem.
Xbox 1 & Xbox2 can connect to xbconnect throught Computer 3 but not Computer 1
When running XBMC Xbox1 or Xbox2 cannot connect to the internet.
Xbox 1 & Xbox 2 cannot use a dynamic ip address...when tryed ip address shows up as 0.0.0.0.
Currently using static IP for Xbox 1 and Xbox 2.
Can not ftp to xbox1 or xbox2 from eather computer
Computer1 & Computer3 are the computers i care about being connected to the xboxs.
Cannot PING Computer 3 from Computer 1.

If theres any info you can give me about how to go setting up all this. so it all works, any information would be helpful.

It would just be nice to be able to have all the computer be able to ping each other to send files and the xboxs to be able to ftp, and use the internet connection for XBMC.

Anyway have you looked at the routers routing table at all. [The table with a list of all of the MAC's] This could atleast give you some sort of indication if the xbox's are being recognised by the router.

Id prefer to have a look at this from a hands on viewpoint, but i doubt that you are going to pay for my plane ticket, and let a complete stranger walk into your house and play with your network.

And to ask 1 more Q, are the routers connected VIA serial cable, or just a ethernet cable?

I dont even know where to look for the routing table, the only time i know the xboxs are be recognized by anything else is through xbconnect, and that only works through computer 3, otherwise the xboxs arn't recognized(that i know of)

Do you know the passwords, IP address and admin names for each of the routers. If so type into internet explorer the IP address of the router. It shoud ask you for Username / password, by default they should be:

Username: admin

Password: password

You should now see the GUI of the router. It should have somthing like a routed table / routing table.

Im not too sure about those brands of routers.

But all and all, you should only have 1 router, then somthing like a 5 port switch hanging off the router. Then connect the Wireless Acess point to the Switch. For a network that small you only really need 1 router

I changed the linksys router to a dynamic IP and put the xboxs to dynamic, and now those are atleast working from computer 3 (but not computer 1), so thats one thing fixed, now i just have to figure out how to get the computers talking to each other through 2 different routers
