played xbox connect a while ago and thought it was alright, but now there are games online that i think i would like to play. I noticed that you can get downloadable content for you games through xbox live. Is this available to losers like me with a modded xbox through xbox connect or is there another way to get them, if you can get them at all.

The only legal ways are availing of the updates through Xbox Live, or, grabbing the updates off Xbox demo discs when they become available.

Or, you could try getting someone with the downloaded content to host the new files on a FTP or turn all the updated files to a big torrent file.

That was what i was afraid of. However, the torrent file sounds interesting. I don't think i have ever seen a file like this in the usuall places one would find such things.

cant be done, downlaoded content is signed to the eeprom of the xbox it was downloaded with an wont work on any other box

actually thats not true .. SOME content is signed .. most of it can be transfered to another xbox with no problem .. even the stuff that is signed can be patched .. don't post completely false statements ..

And yes, most of the content is locked to the eeprom, so it's not worth trying it
