acemile has given you the correct answer. it's either shifting when you place the chip on or one of the points isnt as solid a connection as you need.

you could try soldering and eliminate your aggravation smile.gif

I trided it on a other xbox and that is the same huh.gif and when i take the modchip off and power it it says that it still is connected.

Still, its not getting a proper connection. Soldering will solve the problem.

Have you made sure that the small switch on the Xenium chips is covering the black square?

Give that a shot.

I also have the same problem, but with a little difference:
on the 1.6B one of the solderless conector (the third, just next to D0) it blinks 3 times (exacly 3 times) on the connection test, but then it turn off? it do that EVERY time, so I think if its not making contact why does it do it every time? so just for test I place the chip, but then FRAG sad.gif
on the 1.0, I choose the quick solder method, but it also keeps Frag... grr.gif

I also try the emergency without any result...

Any advice would also be helpfull...
