I have a verified xbox v1.6
x-chip with 1.6 solderless adapter
slayers auto install program
x-control program
evox bins and setup tool
Now, I have read about connecting the chip to the pc via usb and flashing it with x-control and installing the evox 1.6bin. Then, do I simply reboot and load slayer's cd. Is that it?
I've been reasearching and I think I have all the tools, I just want to make sure.

yer go and try it if you run into probs post back here sounds right to me.

sounds good to me. remember tho the first time you get your ftp server going to back up the entire HDD. That way if you due ever mess up you can just through a boot disc in and replace what you messed up.
The only way you can mess up your box is actually installing the chip. software can always be fixed.
